Family-Owned Plant Nursery in North Texas
Taylor Specialty Farms is a family-run wholesale plant nursery located on 10 acres just 15 miles east of McKinney, Texas. We specialize in rare, hard to find, cold hardy agaves, cacti and yuccas. Our selection of locally grown plants are carefully cultivated to thrive in the harsh winters and brutal summers of North Texas.
Our Services
As a local grower we service local retail nurseries and landscapers in the DFW metroplex and surrounding areas. There are no order minimums, and our order turn arounds are usually within days. Customers can either pick up at our farm, or we can deliver it. Being local is our biggest advantage, our customers avoid costly shipping fees, and our plants don't show up damaged from a long cross-country trip.
Our Plants
Our plants are large, well-established, statement-sized specimens. Our locally grown agaves, cactus and yuccas have been carefully chosen for their cold hardy and drought tolerant attributes. Pictured above is our selection of the hard to find Texas native Crazy Horse Agave in 7 gallon, 10 gallon and 15 gallon sizes. These 3 to 5 year old plants are well rooted and landscape ready.
